Ibiza Hot Spots for Holiday Rentals

Ibiza is a very popular holiday destination, thanks to its beautiful turquoise sea, stunning scenery and vibrant lifestyle. There’s no surprise that the demand for holiday accommodation is soaring, turning Ibiza in the ideal investment opportunity.

Anyone looking for an Ibiza holiday home with excellent rental potential should head to certain areas in Ibiza, but not all areas are appealing to tourists in the same way. Before making an investment think about the type of client that you are looking for.

Here are Ibiza’s holiday rental hot spots and the property types for two of the main type of clients:

PARTY LOVERS

Area: Playa d’en Bossa, near Ibiza Town is famous for its nightlife and has the highest demand for tourist rental property, followed by the bay of San Antonio. Another rental hot spot for these type of clients is the area close to the airport or Ibiza town. The area of Sant José and Es Cubells is where you’ll find some of the most highly priced rentals.

Type of property: For this type of client, villas with pools are of course top of the list, as well as an ultra-modern designed villa. A popular sized property may have five or six bedrooms making it ideal for big group of friends. Smaller groups tend to opt for hotels.

FAMILIES

Area: In recent years, more and more renters are looking for the quieter side of the island, heading to the tranquil bays and picturesque villages of the East and North. These are mainly families, who obviously are less interested in the buzzing nightlife of Ibiza and are looking for a laid-back holiday.

Type of property: A traditional finca is more popular than a modern villa. A property with a pool is always top of the list, even if children safety is a priority – so you might want to think about gates for the pool. Families also are looking for nice gardens for the children to play, with no steep drops or too many stairs.
